I believe Black, LGBTQ+, and Trans lives matter. No matter who you love or what you look like, all love is welcome here.
I've also been the unfortunate recipient of a lackluster client experience from my wedding photo team. I was on the other end wondering if they had just dropped off into the ether, going almost a year without hearing from them. I didn't feel valued at all. As a fellow wedding vendor, I was incredibly disappointed, but it created the fuel to design an epic-ly comprehensive experience for my couples so that they never have to feel the way I did.
In our work together, not only will you receive a jam-packed 100-page guide with everything you could ever need to know about how to elope, but I'll also get to know you and your vision through questionnaires, as well as plan your timeline and give you plenty of customized suggestions for whatever you're struggling to figure out (locations, activities, logistics -- I've got you covered!).
Having been through the wedding planning and wedding day experience myself, I know first hand what you're going through. Whether you're struggling to get your closest people on board with your vision, deciding how to curate your wedding day traditions for a specialized experience, or simply figuring out the activities you want to include, I've been there.
You are allowed to want a wedding experience that is completely different from what everyone else in your family has had.
You are allowed to choose anything for your wedding day, and not be pigeonholed into traditions that don't feel right to you.
You are allowed to have a wedding planning and wedding day experience that is fun and stress-free.
The best part about eloping is that you can celebrate having the freedom to do whatever you and your partner want on your wedding day. Want to say your vows at the top of a 50 foot balcony in the redwoods? I know a place. Dreaming of dipping your toes (or more!) in the ocean in your wedding outfits? You got it. Thinking about bringing along your ten closest people, or no one at all? Either way and anything in between is perfect.
This is your wedding day, and you get to call all of the shots.
This is your opportunity to prioritize the wedding experience of your wildest dreams.

In addition to an elopement photographer, I'm also a newly-minted wife. I know exactly what it's like to be planning a wedding not only around a global pandemic, but around family expectations.
I'm here to offer all of my experience as support to you if you're struggling internally with staying true to what you want for your wedding day, and not relenting to the pressure of your family's differing opinions.
side note, have you ever noticed that no one questions all day coverage of traditional weddings? it's almost like our society has conditioned us to see elopements as "less worthy" wedding days ... 🧐☕️
"Getting married was less about the ceremony and more about this time in our lives, this one day where we decided to commit to spending all of our days together.
Of course we wanted the ceremony photographed, but it was more important to us to have the entire day documented so that we could remember every part of that day and everything about our feelings.
When we look at our pictures, we remember every point in the day and how we felt.
Plus, we were able to design photo books for our families that walked them through the whole day, and helped them feel like they were there."
"People have asked us 'What did you do the whole day if it was just you two?' We always say:

Meg did such an amazing job at our engagement session that we couldn't wait to work with her on our wedding day! Not only did she capture hundreds of special memories and details, but she also made sure we soaked up every beautiful moment of the day. Meg has this wonderful balance of understanding how important photos can be without making it all sound overly serious. She knows what details matter and which don't when it comes to making a wedding day special.
I think we would have felt so much pressure to rush through all the moments had Meg not been there. Some of the best memories of our lives are the minutes we spent during our first look and on top of the vista above our venue at sunset. She really helped us make the space for those moments! Of all the investments on our wedding day, choosing Meg to be our photographer was our best one. Hands down.

Meg was so instrumental during our planning process and created a wonderful timeline of the wedding day for us, taking all of our requests and wishes into consideration.
Even when our planning hit several permit snags for our venue location, she jumped in immediately and helped us brainstorm alternative ideas and reached out to vendors on my behalf, and was in constant and quick communication with us. It was outside her duties as a photographer but we so appreciated her help during that stressful time; she truly went above and beyond.
Our friends and family also remarked on how professional she was, how easy to work with she was, and how great her pictures turned out. Our parents kept saying over and over that she has a great eye, and we couldn't agree more! She's friendly, outgoing, very skilled at her trade, and we would not hesitate to recommend her!"

From the moment we reached out, Meg was efficient, friendly, and professional. We got to know her well throughout the process of planning our big day - she carried positivity and creativity into every interaction and even helped us to plan our elopement.
Meg is extremely organized and sends you reminders for anything that needs to be done prior to your event. Nothing ever felt stressful when working with her. She was more helpful than we ever could've imagined, including bringing champagne, picnic supplies, backup items if it rained, and decorations. Meg will get to know you, respect your wishes and requests, and make you laugh and smile throughout your big day.
We loved how our pictures turned out and all of our friends comment on the aesthetic and one-of-a-kind beauty of our album. We feel like we got married in a private forest fairytale. We would highly recommend Meg to anyone looking for a down-to-earth, INCREDIBLY talented photographer.
We knew pretty much immediately that Meg was the right choice to photograph our elopement - she communicated incredibly well and worked with us diligently from the start, getting to know us as a couple in addition to getting all the details around what we wanted for our photography. Do you have a bunch of ideas and specific vision for your photos? Great, she can take that and make it happen efficiently. Do you have no idea what you want and need some direction and creative help? Great, she can do that too!
The getting ready photos, first look, ceremony and reception were all captured thoroughly and efficiently, and with an excellent eye for detail and the little moments that made our day special. Candids, group photos, landscapes and scenery, you'll get it all. Meg made us feel at ease both with her and with each other, and had a truly unique vision for the shots and scenes that showcased us along with the scenery. Meg, you truly made our day special, and it was a privilege to have you with us.

Meg made the day so much less stressful and helped it run so much more smoothly. She was more than just our photographer on that day, she was a part of our family. She is so approachable and charismatic and it felt like we'd known her in-person for a lot longer than just a day! Jake and I are not naturally ones to like taking pictures of ourselves and we were both worried about feeling and looking awkward in the results but Meg made it feel like we were just hanging out and that was so appreciated.
More than anything I wanted to see pictures from my wedding day and feel what I felt in that moment. Meg delivered that and so much more! Our experience was incredible, having someone kind of guide the feeling of the day and capture such precious moments was amazing.
As soon as we saw Meg's photos, we knew that she'd capture the aesthetic we wanted for our wedding photos. Upon reading more on her website, we absolutely had to have her as our photographer! We would recommend Meg in a heartbeat to a friend, and definitely would love to hire her for any future photography needs. We are still in awe over how beautiful our wedding photos are, and we know that we'll cherish them for years to come!
Not only did our photos come out amazing, but Meg made our wedding extra special with all of the little touches along the way before, during, and after the wedding. All of the questionnaires and conversations we had beforehand made us comfortable knowing that we had made the right choice in hiring her!

I’m BFFs with Google Earth. I love scouring it to look for less-traveled, jaw-drop-worthy locations that you won’t find geo-tagged anywhere on Instagram. I look through user-uploaded photos, maps, and think outside of the box for locations we could use for portraits. Basically, I’m a 21st century Nancy Drew with my location sleuthing skills.
As someone who loves to plan things out to a T, I’ve got your timeline on lock. In advance of your elopement day, I’ll send you multiple comprehensive questionnaires with all kinds of questions to get the info I need to help you plan your day & craft your custom timeline; things you wouldn’t even think to mention, because I’m always one step ahead.
You shouldn’t have to wonder if your wedding photographer has just silently drifted into the ether (unfortunately I've been there with mine). I’ll be in regular touch with you and am always available to you by text or email for whatever questions you have. Nothing is too big or small to ask me about if it's important to you.
I’ll send you only the best of the best photos, all with colors that accurately reflect your day (orange skin tones and desaturated greens? We don’t know her). Best of all, you’ll be able to order premium quality prints straight from your online gallery in all kinds of formats and mediums.
