Dreamy, Fun, and Real Elopement Images

photos meant to spark your imagination and redefine what it means to elope

Elopements have all of that with, y'know, a few more extras. Like:

  • squishing your toes in the sand during your ceremony
  • taking a 4x4 up to the top of a mountain for the absolute most epic sunset photos (you noticed the one at the top of this page, riiiight?)
  • forest bathing under the redwoods
  • being served by a private chef
  • smoking a joint just because you feel like it and no one's there to give you a condescending stare
  • taking your bikes out for a spin in your wedding clothes
  • all around just having a grand ol' adventure

(and yes, these are all real-life examples I've photographed!)

Elopement photos aren't just couples portraits.

  • clink glasses with your closest people
  • exchange knowing looks with your best friend
  • put the finishing touches on your outfit
  • share an incredible meal and conversation
  • dance under the stars
  • admire your new rings in their forever home (your hands)
  • appreciate all of your thoughtful tablescapes and day-of details finally coming together

An elopement is another version of a wedding day. And on wedding days, you...

You laugh, cry, hug, stare in admiration of your new spouse, and so many other things.

These are your memories, preserved.

These are all of the once-in-a-lifetime moments that make up your elopement day photos.

Highlight the coastline and ocean below; lots of "small couple, big world" vibes as an ode to this part of the coast they love so much.

it's not just about me putting you into poses and clicking the shutter. creating images that are truly representative of you and your relationship is a collaborative effort, and the magic happens when both you and I meet in the middle: I bring my photo expertise, and you bring your relationship expertise.

in other words: I create a space for the two of you  to take up with your quirks, idiosyncrasies, and undying love. when you choose to step into that space and allow me to bear witness to the intimacy of your relationship, true art is able to flourish. that's what's behind all of the images you see here.

let's get this party started.

It was our privilege to have Meg be a part of our elopement day - the time we spent adventuring with her was absolutely magical, and we were completely blown away by the photos. Everyone we've shared our photos with absolutely raves about her work, and every time we look back through them it feels like we're there again. Her ability to capture the feel of Sea Ranch's landscapes was just what we wanted, and helps keep that day vividly in our memory. What truly made the experience magical was our adventurous portrait time - it was one of the best parts of the entire day!

"Wow! These photos are so incredible."

these aren't my wedding photos. they're yours. which is why it's so important to me that the photos in your final gallery feel like you. and in order for them to feel like you, the magic recipe requires ingredients like connection, relaxation, and play.

when you're fully relaxed and feel connected enough to let your guard down, that's when I'm able to catch those "that's so us" moments to create images that look just the way you remember each moment feeling.

the quiet tender moments, the pee-your-pants-laughing moments, the adventurous moments,
and everything in between.
