Convention would have us believe that you need a big life event (such as: being engaged, married, celebrating an impressive anniversary milestone, etc.) to have a reason to book a professional photographer. Right?

I shoot couples to create an opportunity for them to have beautiful images of them and their significant other, without needing the premise of being engaged or married.

NOT ME. I wholeheartedly believe you do not need any kind of excuse or reason to get your picture taken together. Unless that excuse is "Just because!" 

You deserve to have beautiful, candid, and timeless pictures of you and your boo that you can hang on your wall and admire for months and years to come. Don't you agree?

We're not engaged. Why do we need a session?

This totally depends on how long your session or wedding is. I'll deliver a minimum of 50 hand-edited images to you for every hour we spend shooting together! So, for example, if you  book a two hour session, you'll receive at least 100 pictures. If you book an elopement or wedding, you'll receive 300-900+ images, depending on how long you want coverage.

How many images will I receive for my session?

You'll receive your photos delivered in an online gallery, where it's super easy to download them and directly save them to your computer! I'll deliver a handful of sneak peeks to you by the end of the day after your session or wedding (or early the next morning, if your wedding goes late into the night!). For a couples session, you'll receive your gallery within 10 days. For an elopement or wedding, you'll receive your gallery within 30 days. The industry standard for these is 30+ and 60+ days, respectively. I know how excited you are to see your pictures so I work really hard to get them back to you as soon as possible! If you absolutely can't wait that long, expedited editing is available for $200, that'll bump up your photo delivery a full week!

When and how will I get my pictures back?

Do you travel? If so, what does that cost?

Absolutely!! I'm ALWAYS down for an adventure! Travel costs are complimentary within 25 miles of my home in zip code 94931. Outside of that radius, I charge $1.00/mile. If you're thinking about doing a multi-day event that I'll need to stay out of town for, or not within driving distance, reach out to me and we can discuss specific and custom options! In those instances, flight + hotel + rental car fees will be added to the package.

Can I bring my furbaby(s)?

Heck yeah!! Just as long as they're comfortable on-leash, around other dogs/humans, and walking some potentially decent distances (depending on where your photos will take place!). It's also good to have in mind a solution to tie them up safely while we snap photos of just the two of you!

I know you're the one for us. How do we book you?

Thanks to the magic of the internet, this process is sooo easy!! All I need from you to reserve your date is a signed contract, and a retainer: 30% for weddings or elopements, and 50% for couples sessions. After you inquire and we've got all the details worked out, I'll send all the documents over for you to check out in your own online portal!

How do you keep our images safe?

As I take them. all of your photos are instantly duplicated onto a backup memory card, so instantly insurance is created in case one memory card fails or breaks (one time I had one totally split in half!). As soon as I get home from your session or wedding, I start downloading all of the images to a hard drive, which is then copied over to a second backup hard drive. So at this point, your photos exist in FOUR places. Additionally, I never delete the photos off of the original memory cards until the final gallery is safely delivered to you, so even if some freak accident happened and ALL of my hard drives crashed and I lost everything else (highly unlikely), I'd still have the originals on the memory cards to start over on editing and delivering.
